Dolby Cinema combines Dolby Vision dual-laser projection (1,000,000:1 contrast ratio) with Dolby Atmos spatial audio. Only one Dolby Cinema exists in the Philippines — at Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Note: "Dolby Atmos" at other cinemas refers to the sound system only, not the full Dolby Cinema experience.

Dolby Cinema combines Dolby Vision dual-laser projection (for HDR with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and perfect blacks) with Dolby Atmos spatial audio (sound that moves in three dimensions around you). It's considered the highest-fidelity cinema format available in the Philippines.
There is only one Dolby Cinema in the Philippines — at Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque (along Diosdado Macapagal Blvd). It's operated by Ayala Malls Cinemas. Note that many other cinemas have Dolby Atmos sound, but that's the audio only — Dolby Cinema is the full Vision + Atmos experience.
Dolby Atmos sound is widely available: all 7 screens at TriNoma, all cinemas at Power Plant Mall (Rockwell), Ayala Malls Manila Bay (A-Giant and Dolby Cinema), SM Megamall Director's Club, select Robinsons Movieworld VIP cinemas (Magnolia, Galleria), and Uptown Mall. Dolby Atmos is the sound system — it's different from Dolby Cinema which adds Vision projection.
They optimize for different things. IMAX focuses on the largest screen and immersive scale — ideal for visual spectacles and action films. Dolby Cinema focuses on perfect picture quality — deeper blacks, more accurate colors, HDR contrast. For blockbusters like Avatar, IMAX is the consensus choice. For visually rich dramas, many enthusiasts prefer Dolby Cinema at Manila Bay.
