Dolby Atmos Cinemas and Showtimes in the Philippines

Dolby Atmos is the sound system on its own: object-based audio with overhead speakers, installed room by room and usable with any picture format. Dolby Cinema is Dolby's complete branded auditorium — Dolby Vision dual-laser HDR projection plus Atmos plus a Dolby-specified room design. No Philippine cinema currently operates a Dolby Cinema auditorium, so every "Dolby" session listed on this page is Atmos sound. Ayala Malls Manila Bay is often described online as the country's Dolby Cinema; Ayala's own venue page describes it in terms of laser projection, A-Luxe and A-Giant, and never uses the Dolby Cinema brand.

Atmos is installed per auditorium, so it is best read branch by branch. Ayala Malls cites Atmos in selected A-Giant, Glorietta, Greenbelt and 4DX halls; Vista Cinemas advertises laser projection and Dolby Atmos in every cinema, which is an operator marketing claim rather than a room-level certification; SM markets Dolby Atmos in many newer Director's Club rooms; Robinsons cites Atmos in its Opus Premier and Galleria Cebu VIP rooms; Megaworld cites Atmos in selected Ultra and VIP halls including Uptown; Power Plant Mall advertises Atmos at Rockwell without naming halls; and Festival Mall's Gold Class rooms have Atmos. No chain publishes a complete room-by-room roster, so the cinemas and sessions listed above are the more reliable signal.

Atmos is independent of the picture: the same room can run 2D or 3D, and locally the rooms that advertise Atmos are often premium-seating halls (Director's Club, A-Luxe, VIP, Ultra, Gold Class) or large-format screens such as A-Giant. The exception is IMAX — IMAX auditoriums run IMAX's own 12-channel immersive audio rather than Dolby Atmos.

Some cinema sources label a session simply "Dolby" or "Atmos" in their schedule feed, and that is the label we pass through. Those sessions are Atmos sound; we never upgrade a "Dolby" label into a Dolby Cinema claim, and when a source names the exact screen we show it on the cinema page.

No chain we track sells Atmos as a separate ticket tier, so what you pay is the price of the room the session runs in — a standard hall, a premium-seating room, or a large-format screen. Where a source exposes a price we show it beside each showtime above, and the price range at the top of this page is computed only from those observed prices.
